The element Rubric defines the labels that belong to a Class, Modifier, or ModifierClass. NOTE Preferred term is an example of a rubric kind. Other examples are inclusions, exclusions and editorial notes.

id xs:ID optional 
The attribute id defines a unique identifier for the rubric. If this is absent, the rubric can not be uniquely identified.
kind xs:IDREF required 
The attribute kind refers to the RubricKind of rubric, for example preferred, inclusion, exclusion, etc.
usage xs:IDREF optional 
The first character of the attribute id must be a letter, underscore or colon. The attribute usage refers to a UsageKind and specifies the usage of the Rubric.
